She was born July 2, 1947 in Westport, the daughter of Gilbert and Stella S Gilbert Asher, and was a lifetime resident of Decatur County. She attended Sandcreek High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Vietnam conflict.
She married March A. Muckerheide, Aug. 7, 1973 in Greensburg, and he survives; with two sons, Brian Profiet, Columbus, Ind., and Ryan Muckerheide, Greensburg; four sisters, Mrs. Floyd (Kathleen) Gatewood, Mrs. Allen (Evaleen) Gatewood, and Mrs. Furman (Stella) Bagwell, all three of Westport, and Mrs J.B. (Ann) Cobb, London, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Robert, John and Gilbert Asher, and by one sister, Marie.
The services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Bass and Gasper Funeral Home, Westport.
Burial will be in the Westport cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

The family of Rita Sue Muckerheide, 42, whose obituary appeared in the Friday edition of Greensburg Daily News, contained one error. Earl Asher of Westport was Rita Sue Muckerheide's brother and his name was omitted from the list of survivors.
