DEWEY THOMAS "JACK" RINGSTAFF, Jr. , 81 of the Sharpe community in Marshall County, KY passed away at 4:35AM Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at his home.
Jack had worked for Modine Manufacturing, and retired from the Marshall County Board of Education's maintenance department. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean conflict.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Phyllis Blakney Ringstaff of Sharpe, KY; one daughter, Monilewis Ringstaff Hill and her husband James of Sharpe, KY; one son, Tommy Ringstaff and his wife Diane of Murray, KY; four grandchildren, Trent Ringstaff and his wife, Jessica, Chris Ringstaff and his wife, Rhonda, Tate Hill and his wife, Cathy and Jessica Underhill and her husband Charlie; nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Don Ringstaff of Salem, KY and Wayne "Brady" Ringstaff of Iuka, KY; two sisters, Gladys Wood of Ledbetter, KY and Ruby Salyers of Grand Prairie, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Ringstaff and Roy Ringstaff; and one sister, Barbara Burchard. His parents were Dewey Thomas Ringstaff, Sr. and Loridine Mitchell Ringstaff.
Services: Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Friday, December 13, 2013 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home. Elder Robert Chandler will officiate and burial will follow in the Fooks Cemetery.
Visitation: Friends may call after 4:00PM Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
