The Patriarch of the Joe L. Rodriguez Family was promoted to glory on Wednesday, November 27th, 2013. He leaves behind a loving family who are grieving his loss, and it is with a heavy heart we say goodbye to a very special man in our lives. Joe was born in Phoenix, Arizona on March 20, 1925. Joe married the love of his life, Lupe, devotedly for 63 years. As a young man, he had a vision. He started up a trucking company, which perpetuated into a harvesting company. He named it "The Growers Company" because he said he worked FOR the growers. He was an unselfish man and a visionary. He was very humble and always took care of "his" people, whether they were his bosses or his employees, he treated everyone with respect. Through his generosity and his constant faith in prayer, both his business and his family were blessed. Together Joe and Lupe had 5 children; 12 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren, family meant everything to him.He left us a great legacy…from Rodriguez, to Porras, to Franks, to Stafford, to Scott, to Hancock. Thanks Be to God for his presence in our lives. Tata we will miss you with all our hearts, you will be missed but NEVER forgotten. Vigil Wake Service will be held Wednesday, December 4th at 7:00pm at St. Francis of Assisi. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, December 5th. St. Francis of Assisi , 1815 S. 8th Ave. Yuma, AZ 85364.
