Plaucheville, La., April 25. - Luke Armand, 16 years old, son of Oscar Armand of this city, was killed accidentally Saturday while hunting. The youth, while making his way through the woods, let his gun slip from his grasp. It exploded when it struck the ground, the shot striking young Armand in the forehead, causing instant death. The boy's funeral was held Sunday.
Besides his mother and father, Luke is survived by one brother, Preston, with the American army in France.
