Kathryn Elizabeth (Gahn) Abrams was born June 4, 1913, in C0lumbus, Ohio, one of nine children to Adam Joseph and Anna Elizabeth (Biersch) Gahn. At age 86, after an extended illness, she went home to our Lord at 12:20 p.m. on August 7, 1999 at St. Raphael's Home, in Columbus.

Kathryn married Albert L. Abrams on June 4, 1934 and she is the beloved mother of Albert E. (Patricia) Abrams , Martha A. Brock, and Pamela K. (Eugene) Dornquast.

She was a homemaker, helpmate, and guitar and mandolin teacher at Abrams Music Center on Sullivant Ave. She had many friends and family members who will miss her, especially her beloved cousin, Ellen McMillen and her "Bingo-Buddies."

Preceded in death by her husband, Albert and her great-grandson, Evan Abrams.

Kathryn is also survived by grandchildren, Jon Abrams of Millersport, Robert (Cathy) Abrams of Celina, Merri Anne (William) Schultz, Susanne Hamilton, Karen (Jerry) Baughn, Lisa (Randy) Clinger, and Chad (Jane) Dornquast; and nine great-grandchildren.
