Robert BAKER, ex-coroner of Greene County, died at his home near Park, in this county on Sep 1st. "Uncle Bobby," as he was familiarly called, was well known all over the county. For nearly twenty years he was coroner of the county and bailiff of the grand jury and was a genial favorite with every one. He died in the 79th year of his age, and leaves behind him a memory for honesty, Christianity, and general goodness, which is a full example to the generation now on the stage of action. He was one of the pioneers of this county, and his death is the disappearance of an old landmark. "Peace to his ashes."
