Warren L. Knauss, 87, of 1921 Delancy St., Hellertown, died Saturday, Sept. 4, in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the husband of Ruth E. (Zuber) Knauss. They were married for 51 years in June.
Employed in the coke division of the Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 40 years, he was a foreman for 25 years before retiring in 1977.
Born in Williams Township, he was a son of the late Owen and Ella (Ruch) Knauss.
He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Hellertown.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge 283, Bethlehem.
Survivors: Wife and daughter, Carol S., wife of Michael Kasick, of Allentown.
Services: 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Heintzelman Funeral Home, 326 Main St., Hellertown. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
