Jessey Noble Smith, 89, of Mannford died on January 25, 1994 at Tulsa Regional Medical Center in Tulsa. He was born on May 22, 1904 in Marble, Arkansas, the son of James Marshall and Ellen Melvina (Foster) Smith. He married Lucy Hudspeth on April 27, 1929 in Berryville, Arkansas. She died on August 28, 1954. He married Dorthena Florence Prewitt on December 11, 1964 in Pryor. He was a retired self employed salvage operator. He was also preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Etta Rene Harveston; and his son, Terry Noble Smith. He is survived by his wife, Dorthena; his daughters, Caroline Lorene Schwickerath of Sapulpa, Tina Melvina Parks of Plano, Texas, and Claudine Cox, Eva Jean Holt and Shirley Christina Hogner, all of Sand Springs; his sons, Chester Smith and Lester Smith, both of Sand Springs, and Lonnie Allen Smith of Tulsa; thirty one grandchildren; and fifty four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday at Friendship Community Church with Rev. Gene Varnell officiating. Burial was in Woodland Memorial Park in Sand Springs under the direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service.
