The former Dorothy Heiser was born Sept. 7, 1912, in Davenport, the daughter of John and Mary Matilda Kahl Heiser. She married Earl DePooter Sept. 13, 1930, in Davenport. He died Aug. 5, 1970.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Robert Barth, Bettendorf; sons, Ed DePooter, Bettendorf, and David DePooter, Lees Summit, Mo.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Viola LaGrange, Virginia and Ron Weedon, and Evelyn McDonald, all of Davenport, Del and Clarence Forgie-Richards, Bettendorf, and Shirley and Jack Fenner, Moline.
Services are 1 p.m. Thursday at Halligan-McCabe Funeral Home, Davenport. Burial is in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Davenport.
Visitation is 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
