Elsie Violet Saville passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, December 15, 2013, after a long illness. She touched many lives with her loving, generous heart and positive outlook on life.

Elsie was born in McClusky, North Dakota to Elizabeth Hertz and William Fandrich, and grew up in Goodrich, ND. She had five children by her first marriage in 1951 to Jackson Roger Cooper, and in 1982 married Rennie Saville. Elsie worked as an office administrator. She loved sailing and was elected Commodore of the Point San Pablo Yacht Club. Elsie loved animals and filled her home with loving four-legged friends.

Elsie is survived by her sister Bertha Sharp and her children Elizabeth Frame, Kimberly Stewart, Johnathan Cooper, Verneita Torres, and Julianne Pasco, fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Through her husband Rennie she is also survived by her step-daughters Heather Franco and Holly Saddoris.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Roger Cooper and Rennie Saville, her siblings Walter Fandrich, Uriah "Jim" Fandrich, Tabea Helmer, Lydia Alice Kahler, Gustav Fandrich, Joanne Donahue, Hattie Cameron, William Fandrich, and Eugene Fandrich, and her step-children Barbara Saville, James Leo Saville Sr. and Michael Saville.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Appian Way Seventh-day Adventist Church, 980 Appian Way, El Sobrante, California. Her ashes were laid to rest on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at the Goodrich ND Seventh-Day Adventist Cemetery.
