PRINCEVILLE -- Thelma L. Stauffer, 86, formerly of Princeville and Houston, Texas, died at 12:35 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, 1995, at Parkhill Medical Complex in Chillicothe, where she had been a resident since June 1993.
Born Feb. 9, 1909, in Brown County to William and Sarah Franklin Riley, she married Eldred F. Stauffer in 1933 in Perry. He died in 1984 in Houston. She and her husband operated Stauffer's Market in Princeville for many years until retiring and moving to Houston. No children mentioned in the obituary from the marriage.
Surviving are one brother, three sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
