SCHNEIDER, ADELINE B.

Adeline B. Schneider, age 88, a resident of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc, died Friday morning, March 22, 2013, at her residence.

Adeline was born March 27, 1924, in the town of Hutchins, Shawano County, daughter of the late L.T. and Hulda (Brandt) Pollock. She graduated from Mattoon High School with the class of 1943.

On November 24, 1944, she married Reuben Schneider at the Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, Iowa. He preceded her in death on December 9, 1994.

Adeline studied nursing at Wayne School of Nursing. She was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing, crafts, traveling and was active in her church. Adeline especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law: Linda and Ron Francisco, Two Rivers; two sons and daughters-in-law: Larry and Lois Schneider, Maribel; Dennis and Ruth Schneider, Stone Mountain, GA; seven grandchildren: Todd (Holly) Schneider, T.J. (Kelly) Schneider, Amy Schneider, David (Beth) Schneider, Ronda (Kelly) Schmitt, Tami Francisco, Kari (Christian) Bradley; and 12 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, two half brothers, three sisters, two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Hwy 310, town of Kossuth. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Luke Tembruell with entombment to follow at the mausoleum. The family will greet relatives and friends at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum on Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Adeline's name to the Manitowoc Lutheran High School or Our Savior Church in Two Rivers. The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staffs at Laurel Grove and Shady Lane, and to Pastor Luke Tembruell for their care and compassion shown toward Adeline and her family.
