Alicia was born on June 8, 1979 in York and was the daughter of Shirl and Buzz Gladfelter. She attended Dover Area High School graduating in 1997. She was a machine operator at Stonehedge Farms.
Alicia was an inspiration to her family and friends--since her diagnosis she was a ray of sunshine, never asking why me, but only living her life to the fullest.
In addition to her parents, Alicia is survived by her paternal grandparents Betty and Jim Gladfelter, her brother Cory Gladfelter and his girlfriend Mary Shultz, and lots of loving aunts, uncles and cousins including Kendra Hilty, Tonya Firman and Erin Michalak.
A funeral service in celebration for her life will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at Irwin-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service PC, 175 N Main St., Spring Grove with Rev. Dr. Bradley A. Dayett officiating. She will be laid to rest following the service at St. Paul Union Cemetery.
