Barbara Lee Linn 76, of Greenwood, passed away Wed., July 20, 2005 at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove. She was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis. She was born on May 6, 1929 to Helen (McCurdy) Wilson Barton & E. Gordon Wilson. She was a 1947 graduate of Southport High School and a graduate of the Business College. She worked at both Central Supply Plumbing and RCA. She loved to read and enjoyed listening to music. She was an avid bridge player and a Life Master. She is survived by her son, Mike (Aurora) Linn of Valdosta, GA, three daughters, Cynthia (Lee) Thompson, Terry (Mike) Ridge, Lori (Bryan) Thorne all of Greenwood, ten grandchildren, Tammy (Aaron)Freed, Nicole(David)Porter, Michael Ridge Jr., Gregory(Nikki) Thompson, Erin(David)Hatchett, Amy(Jason)Neff, Laura Thompson, Stephanie(Jamie)Wetherington, Melissa Linn and Kendyl Thorne; 12 great grandchildren, one brother, Mac F. Wilson of Sun City West, AZ, one sister, Janet (Lee) Dudgeon of Muskegon, MI and one half brother, Gordon Wilson and several nieces & nephews. Funeral services were private. Visitation was from 4-8:00 p.m. on Sat., July 23 at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 S. St. Rd. 135. Burial was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to your local Humane Society.
