My brother, Alfred Francis Morency the 3rd, known as Buddy was born to Alfred and Ida Morency on August 7, 1929 on his mothers 17th birthday, in Philadelphia, Pa. He is my oldest brother. As a small child he moved with his family first to Verga, NJ then to National Park, NJ. While working for Duponts in Delaware he was driving a forklift and while backing up he went off the ramp which had no railings and his chest was crushed. At the time of his death he was married to Helen [Beulmer] and they lived in Swedesboro, NJ and they had two daughters Donna age 2 and Nancy age 3 mos. when he passed away.
He was a great person and alot of fun, he could always make you laugh. He would give you his shirt off his back. He was very generous. He passed away on February 22, 1959, at age 29, the day I made my confirmation. His cousin Loretta Apple and Buddy were closed cousins and she passed away just before Buddy from cancer. It just makes me wonder if she called him home along with Our Lord.
He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He is greatly missed by his family and friends. I want to thank everyone who leaves a note or flower at my brothers site, God Bless you.
