Henriette, also known as Retta, Ballif was the 6th child of Serge Louis and Henriette Vuffray Ballif who came to America from Switzerland in 1854. Retta married Joseph Fell Squires 25 Sep 1895 in Salt Lake City, UT. They had 7 children that they raised in Logan, UT. She was an excellent mother, housewife and cook. After her husband died, she spent much of her time with her children. She passed away at the home of her daughter Harriet in Idaho.
