Judith, little daughter and only child of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Habermann, town of Charlestown, died Friday morning. Funeral services were held at 1:30 from the residence Sunday afternoon, to St. Peter’s Lutheran church in the town of Rockland. Burial was made in the church cemetery.
The survivors are her parents, and three grandparents, Ernest Vallesky, Collins and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Habermann, Valders.
The little girl would have been two years old Aug. 12. While Mrs. Habermann was doing her washing, Thursday morning she was about to carry a pail of hot water outside when she notice the washing machine was not working right, and set the pail on the floor to adjust the machine. The little tot went to the pail and fell into the hot water. The shock caused her to go into convulsions which directly caused her death. She died Friday morning.
