Mundell lived at Lewiston from 1946 to 1986. He followed construction throughout the Northwest and worked at Potlatch Corp. Lewiston sawmill. He also owned and operated nightclubs and a motel at Lewiston, was a partner with his father in The Honeybee and a trucking business and leased a self-service gas station for 10 years.
He retired two years ago because of ill health. Since 1986, he had lived at Molalla, Ore.
He was born April 12, 1928, at Menan, Idaho, to H.L. and Mary Mundell. He graduated from Midway High School at Menan in 1946 and then moved to Lewiston.
He married Bennie Felty at Rockwall, Texas, July 10, 1949. She survives at Molalla.
Mundell was a 25-year member of the Teamsters and Operating Engineers unions. He enjoyed hunting.
Survivors in addition to his wife include a son, Berl(cq) Ray; a daughter, Connie; and three granddaughters.
His brothers Milo, James, Horace, his twin, Verl, and half-brother Orie Mundall and sister Elsie Mundell died previously.
