STEEVES, Dorothy M. (Martin) Of Holbrook for 46 years formerly of So. Boston passed away on December 21, 2013 at home surround by her family. Beloved wife for 57 years of William Bill Steeves. Loving Mother of Kathleen Wesselman of TN, Linda Aronovitz of NH, Theresa Leen of Holbrook and Karen Andrews of Marlborough. Devoted sister of Roland Martin of AL, Eleanor Cyr of CT, Cecelia Martin of So. Boston and the late Clifford, Norman, Edward and Arthur Martin. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren. Dorothy was born in Boston and graduated from So. Boston High School. She spent her life raising and enjoying her family. She was a regular at St Joseph 9 AM Mass, a former prefect of the Ladies Sodality and a Member of the Secular Franciscan Order. Dorothy died at the age of 77. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 S. Franklin St. (Rt 37) HOLBROOK, until 8:15 AM on Friday followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in St. Joseph Church. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Joseph Church, 153 S. Franklin St., Holbrook or the charity of your choice .
