Janet Louise Gray, 66 of North East, MD, died Thursday, December 19, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family.

A lifelong resident of North East, she was born on July 29, 1947, the daughter of the late Chalmer W. and the late Dorothy Pearl (Miller) Smith.
Mrs. Gray enjoyed her home, caring for her family, cooking, baking and studying genealogy.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her daughter: 2 grandchildren who lived with her: her siblings: and her step sister.

She was preceded in death by a brother: George Edward Smith; a sister: Jane Raber; a step sister: Jean Raneri; and an infant sister: Joyce.

Funeral service will be held Monday, December 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where the family will receive guests on Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Interment will follow services in Rose Bank Cemetery, Rising Sun, MD.

Flowers are welcome, or memorial donations may be made for an Education Fund for the Gray Grandchildren, in care of the funeral home.
