Funeral services for Mrs. Susan Burtness, 74, former resident of Crary, were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, with the Rev. E.L. Rude officiating. Mrs. Rude played appropriate music. Pallbearers were O.E. Hagen, Herman Stenseth, Louis Setter, John Wickum, Ingvald Dahl and John Nesset. Mrs. Burtness is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Paul Burtness Newberry of Los Angeles, Calif., Miss Rhoda Burtness, New York City and Miss Sophronia Burtness of Wilmington, Del., and one brother, A.O. Wickum of Crary. Burial was in the G.A.R. Cemetery."
