Gertrude "Trudy" Marie Reilly Gemmell, 87, of Crofton, died on July 18 at Crofton Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Trudy was born July 20, 1924 in Bayonne, NJ, and graduated from Bayonne High School in 1942. She raised her family in Maryland after moving there in 1951 where she raised her family. She worked for many years at Litton Industries in College Park and was active in the New Carrollton Garden Club and St. Mary's Parish. Trudy enjoyed traveling, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Edward Ruggirello; and son-in-law, Patrick Wilson.
She is survived by nine children; 22 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
