Harry F. English
Harry F. English, 91, of 516 E. Hunter St., died at 11 a.m. Friday in the Homestead Nursing Home, Lancaster, where he had been a patient for the past three years.
He was born Oct. 19, 1882, in Woodsfield, O., son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Marion English. A retired oil well shooter, he was a member of the Logan Elks Lodge.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. G. E. (Lois) Simpson of Columbus and Mrs. Sandy (Ione) Kaltenback of Romona, Calif.; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Flossie Peaker, in 1945, and a son, Marion.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Heinlein Funeral Home, with the Rev. Conrad O. Diehm officiating. Burial will be in the New Matamoras Cemetery, New Matamoras, O.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 11 a.m. Sunday.
