RONALD Dean MIDDAUGH passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 21, 2013. He was born in Potter County, Texas, forms part of the Amarillo metropolitan area, to Enoch Julian Middaugh and Kamoria Dell Veale and raised in Tempe, Arizona. Prior to graduating from high school, he enlisted in the Army and served 2 tours in Vietnam. He was proud of his service as a helicopter crew chief for the 170th Assault Helicopter Company.

He graduated from College of the Mainland Nursing School in 1981 and spent the next 30 years working at UTMB in Galveston in various units including the ER, Life Flight, ICU and day surgery.

As a member of Webster Presbyterian church, he served as a deacon this past year.

Ron was a kind, compassionate and generous man who is survived by his wife, Julie; son, Robert Middaugh, and wife, Stephanie; daughter Amy and husband, Michael Buell; and step daughter, Alexandria Mead.

A memorial service celebrating Ron's life will be held at Webster Presbyterian Church, 201 E. NASA Pkwy, Webster, TX at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2013. As was Ron's request, he will be cremated and his remains buried at the Houston National Cemetery.
