Charles Anient, foreman of the painting department of the Westinghouse Airbrake Co.. died in the arms of his closest friend and physician Saturday night. Mr. Ament returned from his work on Saturday evening, and while at the supper tablo complained of a pain in his stomach. He went to the office of lr. George W. McNeil at Frankstown and Park avenues, who erave him medicine which relieved the pain and a short time later physician and patient started down Frankstown avenue. Between Everett and Station streets. Ament sta Tiered and fell into the arms of Dr. McNeil. Dr. McNeil and Mr. Ament were born in Delmont, Westmoreland county, and went together to the same school. Mr. Ament came to Pittsburg 30 years ago, starting as a young man with the Westinghouse Airbrake Co He was a member of Duquesne Lodge No. 54. F. & A. M. ; Duquesne Commandery 72 and a chapter Mason. He also was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Collins avenue. He leaves a widow, two sons and two daughters.
