RITES WEDNESDAY

Mrs. Ethel M. Hines, 72, widow of the late Bert Hines, former Hamilton county auditor, passed away Saturday evening at her residence 214 S. 8th Street.
Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Evans, Godby & Trout Funeral Home with Rev. Herschel M. Reed officiating. Burial will be in Crownland cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home at any time.
Born in Wayne Township and a resident of the county all her life, Mrs. Hines formerly was a teacher at the Hazel Dell and Clay Center schools. She later was a bookkeeper in the office of R. C. Foland.
She was a member of the Christian Church, the Wayne Sister and Brotherhood, and the W.C.T.U.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Orval Evans, Anderson, and Mrs. Russell B. Huff, Noblesville; a son, Lawrence L. Hines, Evansville; and a sister, Ivy B. Lennen, Home Place. Two other survivors who were reared in the Hines home are William O. Fisher, Noblesville, and Elizabeth Payne, Indianapolis.
