Marion R. Risner, 81, of Carey, went to be with the Lord at 12:53 a.m. Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.

Born March 25, 1932 in Magoffin County, KY, she is the daughter of the late Frank and Eunice (Bailey) Patrick. She married Virgil Risner on January 30, 1952 in Carey. He preceded her in death on August 16, 1999.

Surviving are two daughters: Paula (Gary) Blair and Pam (J.R.) Stock both of Carey, three grandchildren: Lindsay (Eric) Welborn, Heath (Michaela) Blair, and Jordan Blair, and two great grandchildren: Kedrick and Preston Blair.

She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Risner and 16 brothers and sisters.

Marion was a homemaker and had worked at the former West Town Grocery Store and Essex Corporation both in Carey.

She was a member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of God in Carey.

Family and friends will be received 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2013 at STOMBAUGH-BATTON FUNERAL HOME in Carey and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of God, with Rev. Joe Turner officiating.

Interment will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery in Carey.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bridge Home Health and Hospice in care of Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey.
