Mary G. Leos, age 75, beloved Mother, sister, grandmother, great & great-great grandmother, aunt and friend, was called home to our Heavenly Father on December 19, 2013 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born December 16, 1938, in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Leonard Sr. & Celia Reyes, a lifetime resident of Corpus Christi, Texas, She graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1957 (a true Buccaneer). She was employed by CCISD for many years until her retirement in 2003. Mary was a Grand Woman with many friends. Throughout her entire life she was devoted to her loved ones, her Catholic faith, and a parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church. Many knew her as a Classy Lady...she always looked like she was ready to take on the world. She was comfortable being herself and she never tried to be like anyone else. Mary enjoyed life, even when she was not able to do for herself after suffering her stroke back in 2006...she accepted God's Will and with time she was able to be that independent woman she once was.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother Estefana Gaytan, her parents and her daughter, Bonnie Rose Leos.

Mary leaves behind her family to cherish her memories, five children, Lorraine Yvonne Salas, Doreane Janet Leos Esqueda, Arnold Atilano Leos, Chula Marie Lopez (Pedro) and Michelle Lee Albornoz (Bill) and their father, Atilano 'Tilo' Leos; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren; brother, Leonard Reyes, Jr. (Mary); sister, Margaret 'Mattie' Blanco; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers: Pedro Lopez, Bill Albornoz, Michael Trevino, Noe Salas, Jr., Nathaniel J. Salas, Christian A. Leos

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

We would also like to thank the staff of Wooldridge Place Nursing Center for the care they gave our mother during her 7 year stay, and making her part of their family; also to the staff at the Corpus Christi Medical Center - The Heart Hospital for making her as comfortable as possible during her short time there.
