Jeff Young Cromeens, Age 91 of Mesquite, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2013. He was born on April 8, 1922 in Anson, TX. Jeff married the late Alice Elaine Lewis, of Wichita, Kansas, on April fool's day in 1943. His patented inventions motivated him to create Industrial Woodworking Machine, Co. He ran the business, later turning it over to three of his sons. Because of the company, he and Elaine were able to travel the world with their good friends Bill and Mildred Hooper. He began his hobby of collecting antique cars; at one time, having over thirty cars. This hobby led to the opportunity for him to race in "The Great American Race" for several years with his son Gary. Jeff was also active in the community, serving on the Mesquite school board in the '60's. Jeff and Elaine attended First Presbyterian Church in Mesquite, and are now together with the Lord. Jeff spent many years as an active member of the church choir. He is survived by his four sons, Gary, Gail, Wayne, Phil, and their wives; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
