Robert A. Abood, 62, of 1542 Lee St. E., died May 27, 1987, in St. Francis Hospital after a long illness.
He was a retired merchant and was a veteran of World War II.
He was a lifelong resident of Charleston.
Surviving: wife, Virginia "Jill" Abood; daughter, Carol Boyles of Charleston; son, Robert A. Jr. of Dayton, Ohio; two grandchildren.
Graveside memorial service will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.
Barlow-Bonsall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
