Former Noblesville resident Lillian M. Sapper, 74, Greenfield, died Saturday, Aug 22 at Regency Place Convalescent Center in Greenfield.
She was born May 4, 1918, in Scottsburg, the daughter of Claude and Beryle (Hines) Cooney.
Mrs. Sapper was a member of the First Christian Church of Noblesville.
Surviving are a son, Robert Closser of Carthage; three daughters, Babara Smith and Becky Bylett, both of Greenfield and Margie Brown of Anderson; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one sister, Suellen Warner of California; four brothers, Raymond Cooney and Phillip Cooney, bith of California, Orville Cooney of New Hampshire and Thomas Cooney of Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Negley H. Sapper; a son David Closser; a sister, Margaret Apple; and a brother Claude Cooney Jr.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pasco Memorial Mortuary, Greenfield, with Dr. James Carpenter officiating.
Burial will be in Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
Friends may call 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary, 312 E. Main St., Greenfield.
