UPDATE: I have set a new replacement memorial gravestone near the Flagpole for Sheriff DeLashmut. Unfortunately, it does not mark his actual burial plot as that has been lost to time. This memorial gravestone was a donation made by Mr. Carmine Menduni, the owner of Columbus Art Memorial Inc. in Columbus, Ohio USA.
Sheriff Elias N. DeLashmutt was one of the first elected Sheriffs (1807 or 1808-1811) of Franklin County Ohio in it's earliest years. His death occured after the Ague or Fever of 1823 had overtaken him. Sheriff DeLashmutt died at the early age of 46 years.

Gravesite Details
Only a displaced partial/broken grave marker remains which I set/placed next to the four Veteran markers at the cemetery on June 12, 2006. Sheriff Delashmutt's actual burial plot is unknown.
