"Mrs Rosaline Blakeslee, 67, of Spartansburg, RD 3, died yesterday afternoon at Hamot Hospital in Erie following an extended illness. She was born Jan 29, 1903, in Corry, the daughter of Michael and Johanna Shea Dempsey. In February, 1935, she married Paul W Blakeslee. He died on June 6, 1962. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory RC Church in Spartansburg. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs Russell (Sandra) Young of Spartansburg, RD 3; two sons, Paul J of Spartansburg, RD 3, and Douglas of Horsehead, NY; eight grandchildren; one sister, Mrs William (Ernestine) McCarthy of Corry; and one brother, Victor Dempsey of Corry. Friends may call at the H Richard Hays Funeral Home in Spartansburg....The funeral service will be held Monday at 10 am in the Our Lady of Victory RC Church in Spartansburg. Rev John Lucas, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery."
