Samuel Wood

Samuel Wood, 210 Chellis Street, died at the Marathon County Home and Hospital this morning at 5 o'clock. He was in a hospital at Wisconsin Rapids and at the Wausau Memorial Hospital several days before being removed to the county institution.

The funeral is to be held Saturday afternoon at Perkinstown where burial will be made.

The deceased was born 59 years ago in Wisconsin and had lived In Wausau ten years. Surviving are the widow; six children, Mrs. Leonard Mielke of Sheboygan Falls, Mrs. Hilmar Johnson of Dextervllle, Samuel Jr., Ethel and Hiram Wood of Wausau and Chester Wood of Perkinstown; a sister, Mrs. Sarah Wood of Wausau; two brothers, Norman Wood of Nekoosa and Frank Wood of Kansas City, Kan, and seven grandchildren.
