Elder Dreadsie James Dixon, 98, of Huntsville passed away Thursday at Parkview Nursing Home.
Survivors include his wife, Minneola Williams Dixon; six children, Donald Dixon, Gwendolyn Dixon, J. Philip Williams II, Dwayne L. Williams, Denise M. Williams and Mark L. Williams; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Oakwood College Seventh-day Adventist Church with Dr. Calvin B. Rock, vice president emeritus of the General Conference, officiating. Interment will be held in Oakwood Memorial Garden with Royal Funeral Home directing.
