Parents: Dock and Retha Wagers Lawson
Family: wife, Helen Wagers Lawson and step-son, Anthony Wagers, 19 nieces and nephews.
Surviving brothers: Lonnie, Donnie, Arvis, (all Lawsons), sisters: Helen Bowling, Carrie Sams, Barbara Hensley and Tina Lawson.
He was preceded in death by Mother, 2 daughters, Sally and Connie Lawson and 1 brother.
Funeral services were held at Big Creek Holliness Church with Rev. Sill Lee officiating with burial in Cradle Bow cemetery in the Sexton Creek Community.
John was a good father, son and Uncle and an inspiration to all who knew him.
