Ms. Barbara Eskew-Kennedy, age 77, of Stockbridge, GA passed away December 21, 2013. Barbara was born in Cleveland County, NC the daughter of the late Roy Hall and Essie Mae Wood Lewis.
Barbara's pride and joy were her eight boys and their families who she enjoyed cooking for and having family gatherings. She enjoyed yard sales, thrift shops, and bird watching. She was preceded in death by her oldest son, Roy Eskew. Survivors are her sons and their spouses, Paul Eskew (Loretta) of Monticello, Lee Eskew (Kimberly) of Jackson, Bobby Eskew (Cathy) of Stockbridge, Clell Eskew (Dee) of Covington, John Eskew (Becky) of McDonough, Clay Kennedy (Linda) of Locust Grove and Matt Kennedy of Stockbridge; 21 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; siblings, Hazel Walls, Joyce Thomas, Marilyn Gann, Ricky Lewis, James Hall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service for Barbara will be Friday, December 27, 2013 – 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Dr. J. A. Patterson and Rev. Zack Nipper officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
