Adaline Starr died May 18 at McCurtain Memorial Hospital. She was born July 8, 1902 to Frank & Anna (Faulk) Stewart.
On Aug 24, 1923 she married Johnnie W. Walker in Wilton AR, who preceded her in death. She became a member of Tom Church of God in Christ in 1926, under the leadership of Elder S.W. Williams.
Survivors include five sons, John H. Walker of Tom, Alonzo and L.C. Starr both of Oklahoma City, David Starr of Arizona and Thomas Starr of Los Angeles CA; three daughters, Jan (Lutrena) Zamora of Rio Rancho NM, Mary Lee Williams of Paris TX and Ethel B. Starr of Arizona; two granddaughters, a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 pm at the Church of God in Christ in Tom with James McIntosh officiating. Burial will be the Della Simpson Cemetery in Tom under direction of Baker Funeral Home of Idabel.
