Cindy L. Mika, 52, of Kenosha, passed away after a long hard fight with cancer, with her loving husband by her side, Sunday, December 22, 2013 at her residence. She was born on June 2, 1961 to Alan D. and Irmgard (Gorzny) Aikins in New Richmond, WI. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha.

On December 12, 1986 she married Daniel J. Mika in Kenosha.

Cindy was very proud of being a postal carrier for several years. Cindy enjoyed bowling, fishing, traveling, crocheting, embroidering, cross-stitching and coloring. She was also an avid Packer fan and loved animals.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband Daniel J. of Kenosha, her son Daniel A. Mika of Kenosha, her stepsons Randy Mika and Milo (Sherry) Mika both of Kenosha, her mother Irmgard Aikins of Kenosha, her sisters Monica (Jim) Lorenz of Pittsville, WI and Yvonne (Larry) Buskirk of Kenosha, her step grandchildren Andrew and Brittany.

She is preceded in death by her father.

A Celebration of Life for Cindy will be held on Friday, January 3rd at 7:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service. Memorials would be appreciated to the family.
