My grandmother, Lota Mae, was known by all as "Mommy Johnson", and was THE best grandmother e-v-e-r. She lived with my father (her son), my mother, sister and me for about 17 years. She and my grandfather separated but never divorced, as they loved one another until death. She was sweet, SO funny, loving, kind, (yet a disciplinarian)and a true angel! I've always said, that if I make it to Heaven, she will be the first to grab and kiss me!
She bore five children: James Maurice/Rowland (my father); Theda Lee; Lota Mae; Fred Lee Holt "Sonny", and Bobby Joe. I Love you Mommy.... Shug
