John Albright, always called Johnnie, was born to George and MaryAnn (Jones) Albright, the seventh of nine children. Those left in our family who remember him say he was a very nice young man who was easy to get along with. He was afflicted with some type of congenital deformity causing him to have a humped back and also an enlarged heart which apparently was the cause of his death at the young age of 29. He never married and lived in the family home in the Hyde Park section of Scranton PA all his life.

Pre-deceasing him was a little sister, Elizabeth, who died at the age of three and a brother James who died in the flu epidemic of 1918. In addition to his parents he was survived by brothers, Philip, George, and Fred and sisters Leah, Mary, and Helen.

Johnnie was buried at Washburn St. Cemetery in Scranton PA where his parents, sister Elizabeth, and brothers George, Fred, and Jimmy are also interred.
