Mary Jane (Lamb) Krotz, 86, of Harrison City, died Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, in Loyalhanna Care Center, Latrobe. She was born Feb. 3, 1927, in McCullough, a daughter of the late John D. and Emma (Rohrer) Lamb. Mary Jane was a member of Community United Methodist Church in Harrison City and the United Methodist Women. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn R. Krotz in 1995; three brothers, Robert, William and George Lamb; and three sisters, Ellen Kepple, Anna Belle Nicholson and Hanna Hawk. She is survived by two sons, G. Thomas Krotz and wife, Betsy, of Damascus, Md., and Len E. Krotz and wife, DeAnn, of Loyalhanna; grandson, Daniel Krotz; and a sister, Sarah Beech, of Penn Township. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the JAMES E. LINDSAY FUNERAL HOME INC., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, in Community United Methodist Church (everyone, please go directly to the church), with the Rev. John E. Ciampa officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Penn Township. The family would like to thank the staff and Doctors Gavin and Clark at Loyalhanna Care Center for the loving care of their mother. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community United Methodist Church, 3487 Route 130, Irwin, PA 15642.
