R.C. Gorman (Rudolph Carl Gorman) was born on the Navajo Reservation in 1931. He is an internationally known painter & sculptor. His wonderful & unique creations of original, limited edition and poster art of native american subjects adorn homes and businesses all over the world. He was known as "The picasso of American Art". Owned his own art gallery since 1968. His father Carl Nelson Gorman, was also an artist and sculptor/painter, and a Navajo Code Talker during World War II. RCGorman's beautiful comtemporary art creations, are loved and appreciated by both old and young. My deepest sympathies to his family and loved ones. The loss of this very loved, talented and inspiring individual will be missed terribly.
