Burgess Cherry Dies in Tucson, Arizona

Jerome Burgess Cherry, 31 years old, youngest son of Mrs. J. G. Cherry, 1232 Second avenue, died Monday at Tucson, Ariz., after a long illness. The funeral will probably be held in Cedar Rapids. Definite arrangements will be announced later probably Friday.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. J.G. Cherry four brothers, G.W. of Denver, Walter L. of Cedar Rapids, Herbert T. of Tama and Howard B. of Cedar Rapids and three sisters, Agatha M. and Nelle Louise of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Georg. H. Lutgerding of Phoenix.

He was born in Cedar Rapids, Sept. 17, 1866. He attended the public schools of the city and graduated form Washington high school on 1904. Since that time and until he was taken ill he was actively connected with the J. G. Cherry company, first with them at Peoria, Ill. an then at St. Paul, Minn.
