He was born in Washington Twp., and had lived in the Lexington area all his life. Mr. Vanderbilt was a retired licensed real estate salesman and a member of the Grace Brethren Church, Lexington.
He is survived by his wife, Louise, with whom he celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary August 25; one son, Robert Lee of FL; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Mary) Terry of Mansfield, and Mrs. Earl (Genevieve) Burgoon of North Canton; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles and John L., both of Lexington; one sister, Mrs. Walter Baughman of Bellville.
Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home by the Rev. Dean Risser. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery.
