Both Ida's marriage and death records list her parents as Samuel and Hannah Reed Lyons. It appears, however, they were her grandparents. Ida is found in their household in 1870 as Ida Harper, age 2 (no relation recorded), and again in 1880 as Iola M. Lyons, their granddaughter. She married Ambrose Leathers on 30 Aug 1887 in Bellefonte, Centre Co., Pennsylvania. The information on her birth, death and burial all taken from her death certificate.
