Edwardsville--Frank J. Barnett, 75, life-long resident of Edwardsville, died at 10 p.m. Sunday at 306 Hillsboro avenue. He had been ill several months.
He was born on a farm in Hamel township, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tinsley K. Barnett. He operated a jewelry store here for many years, later engaging in the lumber business with a brother.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Angeline Davis Barnett, a niece and a nephew, Edward Barnett, Edwardsville.
Funeral rites will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Lesley Marks funeral home by the Rev. C. Attig. Burial will be in Valley View cemetery.
