Probably born in Sandusky or Huron County, Ohio. Parentage unconfirmed but as of May 2015, I strongly suspect her parents to be Alfred Cummings (b abt 1787 ?Canada - d 28 Nov 1832 Norwalk, Huron, OH) and Lydia ____ (b abt 1801 - d after 1840, was living in Milan, Erie, OH then). Mary "Polly" Cummings married three times (1) John David Risley - 7 Aug 1845 (2) Moses George - 3 Apr 1865 and (3) Daniel Flora - 21 Oct 1869. She and John Risley had six children: Sarah Elizabeth, Charles, Mary Frances, David, Melissa and Edgar.
