Pfc. U.S. Army, {RA54809050}, Vietnam War-Pfc. Brantley was killed in action from multiple fragmentation wounds during Operation Billings on 6-17-1967 while serving as a light Weapons Infantryman with Co. A of the 1st Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. Pfc. Brantley started his tour of Vietnam on 3-7-1967.

Pfc. Brantley is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Willie G. Brantley of 3647 Douglas Blvd., Chicago, Illinois, and the husband of Mrs. Dorothy Mae Brantley of 3645 Douglas Blvd. Chicago, Illinois, and he enlisted with the Army in Chicago on 10-3-1966.

Awards: Purple Heart Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Vietnam Service Medal with One Service Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal.
