Karen Denise Randall DeMott, 49 years, 1 month and 29 days of age, of Mecosta, Michigan, formally of Mount Pleasant and Remus, departed this life on Saturday, December 14th, 2013 at her home in Mecosta.
Karen was born October 15th, 1964 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, daughter of Clare LeRoy Randall and the late Catherine Marie Zeneberg Randall. She graduated from Chippewa Hills in 1982. Her many hobbies included spending time with friends, shopping with her children, Nascar races, playing cards, fishing, camping, gardening, plants, she was an excellent cook and enjoyed attending Wheatland and Hughstock with Nate.
Karen was survived in death by her loving husband of 9 years, Richard James DeMott, whom she married on August 16th, 2004; her father, Clare LeRoy (and Sandy) Randall; three children, Jessica Crystal, Jennifer Crystal, and Brooke DeMott; three sisters, Christine "Chris" (and Chuck) Thorson, Susie Randall, and Geri Jo Randall; one brother, Doug (and Starr) Randall; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.
Karen was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Marie Zeneberg Randall, who departed this life on December 20th, 1986; and one niece, Ashley Mayer.
Visitations were held on Tuesday, December 17th, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Brigham Funeral Chapel in Lakeview, Michigan.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 17th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brigham Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bob Cairns officiating.
Burial was in the St. Michael's Cemetery in Remus, Michigan.
